Good community support at fitness challenge

The event was open to non-profit organisations who were invited to 'get the exposure they need' by taking a table free of charge and educating the community on the services they provide.

EDITOR – I would like to thank members of the community who supported the Scottburgh Fun Fitness Challenge on Wednesday, 16 December.

Grateful thanks to the following who donated prizes for the event: Vouchers from personal trainer Johanna Tait, Callanetics Evolution by Louise and Just Move. Pens, deskpads and wall calendars from Poynter Print, voucher from Bell and Anchor and voucher from Mozam Prawns.

Grateful thanks to Dimple Govender who brought a wonderful bunch of women from Shape Up and for the use of her equipment.

The event was open to non-profit organisations who were invited to ‘get the exposure they need’ by taking a table free of charge and educating the community on the services they provide. Thirty emails were sent out. NPO’s were invited and reminded. Three chose to get involved. Thanks to those three.

The money raised will be handed over to 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue in due course.
