Apply BEE quotas on income tax

We have many fellow citizens languishing in poverty, people who simply do not have the means to uplift themselves.

EDITOR – Ever the victim, President Zuma has again been mouthing off against whites.

He says the economy is ‘controlled by whites’, so affirmative action must be ‘intensified’ in order to ‘deepen reconciliation’.

This from a man that presides over a dysfunctional government, one that has been stealing the country blind since coming to power. How does one respond to such shameless hypocrisy?

We have many fellow citizens languishing in poverty, people who simply do not have the means to uplift themselves. Fact is, such people require substantial, direct aid, without strings attached. What a sin it is then that the ANC has stolen or misappropriated mega-billions of taxpayer monies, in effect robbing the very people they claim to represent.

On the issue of affirmative action, wouldn’t it be nice if this was applied to income tax? One could, for example, apply the racial quota requirements for admission to the UKZN Medical School i.e. 69 percent African, 19 percent Indian, 9 percent Coloured, 2 percent White and 1 percent Other. Mind you, I guess we should be thankful that at least we are worth one percent more than ‘other’.
