EDITOR – Kindly inform the public of a scam in the Winklespruit area.
A white man is pretending to be working for DisChem, apparently doing a promotion on a new product on the pharmacy’s behalf.
The product I bought was a water purifier with carbon filter and I received two extra filters because of the promotion. The product is in its original packaging and has the company trademark on it. I paid R100 for the product.
In fact that same product is sold at Dis-Chem at R16.95 for the purifier and R 9.95 for the two filters.
I hope this will help prevent others from being scammed out of their hard-earned money.
