Water supply to be interrupted in central and southern regions

Residents from Isipingo to Scottburgh are advised to prepare accordingly, ensuring they have enough water stored for the day.

ETHEKWINI Municipality’s planned interruption of water supply will affect residents from Isipingo to Scottburgh tomorrow (October 1) from 05:00 to 16:00.

In a statement, the municipality said areas supplied by the South Coast Augmentation pipeline will be affected.

“These areas include parts of the central and south regions. The planned interruption is aimed at completing maintenance of the electrical medium voltage for the new South Coast Augmentation booster pump station. The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.”

Residents in the affected areas are advised to prepare accordingly, ensuring they have enough water stored for the day.
