Isipingo detective secures 15-year murder conviction

Detective Constable Thabiso Wonder Nkabinde of the Isipingo Police Station was applauded and congratulated by his peers for the successful conviction.

MEMBERS of the Isipingo Police Station applauded Detective Constable Thabiso Wonder Nkabinde for his dedication in securing a murder conviction of 15 years.

According to Nkabinde, Frank Nhlanhla (36) was recently sentenced at the Chatsworth Regional Court for killing his girlfriend in Malukazi, Isipingo in April 2022. He stabbed her to death.

Station Commander Colonel Hensford Msawenkosi Zama said, “Domestic violence is a serious offence, and I would like to encourage the community to seek help and get the necessary counselling or support that is needed to stop the cycle of domestic violence and to prevent such further serious crimes from taking place.”

Detective Branch Commander Lieutenant Colonel Nqubeko Arthwell Zulu welcomed the sentence and congratulated Nkabinde on his hard work and dedication in securing a conviction.

Communications officer Constable Donald Naidoo said, “Securing such a conviction is proof of his dedication and commitment in taking dangerous criminals off the streets of Isipingo and sending them to jail for a long time.”
