Last chance to register for 2024 elections

Next weekend is the last chance for voter registration. Here is a list of voting stations in the greater Kingsburgh and Amanzimtoti area.

THE last chance for voter registration is on February 3 and 4 from 08:00 to 17:00 at all voting stations across South Africa.

Ward 97 councillor André Beetge said all South African citizens aged 16 or older, possessing a bar-coded ID, smart card ID, or temporary ID, should register.

“Registration can be done at any voting station in South Africa that will capture the residential address and register the citizen to the correct voting station. Only those registered to their correct local voting station will be able to vote in the 2024 elections (date not yet gazetted),” he said.

Online registration can also be done using the IEC website at https://registertovote.elections.org.za

Local voting stations in the greater Kingsburgh and Amanzimtoti area are:

• Warner Beach Junior Primary, Radbourne Road.
• Kingsburgh Lions Club, Hall Road.
• Doon Heights Primary School, Longacres Drive.
• Amanzimtoti Civic Centre, Hutchison Road.
• Kuswag Skool, Kuswag Lane.
• Athlone Park Methodist Church, Warner Street.
• Umbogintwini Primary School, Prince Street.
