De Jager resumes bail application at Amanzimtoti Court
Werner de Jager is expected to take the stand at the Amanzimtoti Court for a formal bail application.
MURDER accused Werner de Jager is back in court today (January 9) to make a bail application after spending Christmas in jail.

De Jager is accused of murdering his wife, Reverend Liezel de Jager, in October 2021 at their Amanzimtoti home.
After the investigation dragged on for over two years, De Jager was arrested in Bloemfontein in November last year. During his second appearance on December 7, 2023, the matter was postponed to allow for other aspects of the investigation to be finalised.
