Fundraiser in support of the Domino Foundation

Pick ’n Pay Winklespruit chose Domino as their beneficiary because they support their holistic approach to taking care of the needy.

THE Domino Foundation received R10 000 from Pick ’n Pay Winklespruit’s Drinks and Eats fundraiser evening recently.

Community members got to enjoy a variety of beverage and food tastings from about 40 vendors in Kingsburgh Centre – for a good cause. Pick ’n Pay’s Jacques Kruger said they selected Domino as they support their holistic approach to taking care of the needy.

“They have a multifaceted approach and do their best to assist and/or take care wherever a need arises. Furthermore, it was important for us to partner with an association with a local footprint as opposed to a national entity since we always attempt to take care of our own, at home, as far as we can,” he said.

Domino’s Cheryl Dann and Karen Brokensha expressed thanks to all those who supported the fundraiser and shared some of the work they do in Amanzimtoti and surrounds, such as the many hungry tummies their nutrition programme feeds on a daily basis.
