Help Jabulani fill its three charity shops

Funds raised from the clothing, bric-a-brac and craft shop allow the rent to be kept as low as possible for the 81 residents.

JABULANI, the Kingsburgh Welfare Organisation for the Aged (KWOFTA), appeals to the community for donations of unwanted items for its charity shops.

Jabulani’s Liz Naude said that selling items at its three charity shops helps them make some extra money, which allows them to keep the rent as low as possible for the 81 residents who mostly only receive Sassa grants.

“Donations are needed for our second-hand clothing shop, a bric-a-brac shop and a craft shop. Check your cupboards and garages for donations, especially bric-a-brac, such as ornaments, trinkets, picture frames, decorative figurines as well as any other household items. We would really appreciate it,” she said.

The shops are open on Thursdays from 07:00 to 10:00. In an added effort to help raise funds, Jabulani will be hosting a cake sale in the hall on October 7 at 08:00. All are welcome.
