Amanzimtoti resident loses her battle with cancer

Despite fighting her battle with the cancer, the admin of various news groups in and around Amanzimtoti continued to keep the community up-to-date.

MANDY Rudman, most known for keeping the community up-to-date with crime and accidents in and around the area, died last night, April 21, after losing her battle with cancer.

Since the news of her passing, tributes have been pouring in from friends, family, community members and those in various social media news groups that she was admin of.

Her daughter, Tiffany Beytell said, “Rest in peace my beautiful mother, my best friend and the one I could talk to about anything or go to about anything. To those that didn’t know, my mom was diagnosed with cancer a while ago. She was fighting everyday, unfortunately, she lost the battle. Jesus needed her in heaven, as I believe she did her deed on earth.”

She described her mother as the best soul, always seeing the good in everything and always trying to help everyone.

Rudman leaves behind her husband; Johnny, three sons; Jason, John and Thorne, her daughter, her grandsons; Connor and Elijah, her granddaughter, Miah as well as her daughter-in-laws and son-in-law. “We love you and we will miss you everyday,” said Beytell.

Rudman was admin of the MVA Protest WhatsApp groups, and Traffic KZN and Amanzimtoti & Neighbours News Alerts Warning Crime Facebook pages. “We’ve lost a dear friend in you, Mandy. Thank you for the mission of ministering through your call by being our eyes, ears and saver on the roads,” read one of the many messages.
