Amanzimtoti SAPS welcome new station commander

The Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum's executive committee had the opportunity to formally meet Colonel Joseph at the police station.

THE Amanzimtoti SAPS has a new station commander in Colonel GD Joseph who was appointed recently. He takes over from Lieutenant Colonel Riette Kitching who served in the role in an acting capacity since early 2022.

On Monday, February 13, the Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum’s (ACPF) executive committee had the opportunity to formally meet Colonel Joseph at the police station. ACPF’s public relations officer Estelle van Eeden said Colonel Joseph was warmly welcomed.

“We look forward to this opportunity to strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and ACPF, the community police sub-forums, neighbourhood watches and the community,” said Estelle.
