Learners from all over the South Coast started school for the year.

THE start of the new school year happened without a hitch on the South Coast on Wednesday, January 18 as parents accompanied their excited children to school.

At Warner Beach Preparatory School’s junior campus, learners started arriving as early as 06:20 and waited outside before gates opened at 06:45. There was not a tear in sight as most of the learners knew each other from Grade R. Some parents, however, were fighting back the tears as they said goodbye to their children as they start ‘big school’.
