This follows a major leak in the pipeline which affected the water supply in some parts of Ensimbini and Folweni.
eThekwini spokesperson Msawakhe Mayisela said the reservoir will take a few days to recover successfully as there was no inflow of water into the reservoir during the repairs.

“In the meantime, tankers are being dispatched to the affected areas. The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused,” said Mayisela.
