Ons Winkel Amanzimtoti awarded for outstanding efforts

The Amanzimtoti based charity organisation received awards for best social media in KZN and good services and turnover.

ONS Winkel Amanzimtoti were awarded for their hard work and dedication to community initiatives at a recent gala evening held in Pretoria.

The gala evening is an annual function hosted by head office for all the Ons Winkel owners across South Africa, to honour them for all their hard work and dedication within their respective communities.

Owner of Ons Winkel Amanzimtoti, Karen Duyvestyn, said about 100 shop owners attended, with the KwaZulu-Natal shops being Amanzimtoti, Scottburgh, and Margate.

The Amanzimtoti based charity organisation received awards for best social media in KZN and good services and turnover. Duyvestyn said, “The event was very nice, and I am very happy with my awards. I would like to thank the Amanzimtoti community and everyone that supports our shop.”

The charity shop contributes to a number of projects to help those in need. Duyvestyn invites the public to browse through the wide variety of affordable goods on sale, as well as to donate what they no longer use in their homes. The money made from the sale of these goods is used for Solidarity Helping Hand’s study fund, as well as other initiatives.
