Black Coffee donates to Malukazi school

Windy Heights Primary School showed appreaciation by naming one of its buildings after the star's foundation.

GRAMMY award-winning international DJ, music producer, and businessman, Black Coffee – real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo – visited Windy Heights Primary School on Monday, November 8, to make a donation of school shoes through his Black Coffee Foundation.

He told the learners to persevere and love education. “Work hard and protect your right to education. You are our future leaders, and we are here to support you and make you realise your dreams,” he said.

The school’s principal, Thembekile Makhanya, said to show appreciation, the school has named one of their blocks after the star.

“Block B has been renamed the Black Coffee Foundation block in honour of this Durban-born musician and business giant for his constant contribution towards community development,” she said.
