Edu-Paw hosts a dog training day

Volunteers taught the children in the programme some basic dog training tips.

VOLUNTEERS at Edu-Paw recently hosted a dog training day for the children in class 10, to teach them basic training tips.

The organisation’s founder, Cathy Keegan, thanked Robyn Dunbar and Irene Moussouris of Umbogintwini Dog Training Club, for spending the morning teaching the children some basic dog training tips.

“The dogs so enjoyed the incentive of liver treats made by Irene of Good Dog Barkery and liver bread made by Robyn. The children were amazed to learn how clever their dogs are,” said Keegan.

She also thanked Robyn, who runs their ‘Operation Chilly Dog’, to ensure all the dogs have blankets and jackets in winter as well as Alida Schempers, Sue Nelson and Irene Moussouris who are apart of the chilly dog team.
