ON Thursday, September 1, chemical company AECI’s training centre and human resources, alongside Wildlife and Environment Society South Africa (Wessa), hosted learners from different schools to commemorate Arbour Day at Umbogavango Nature Reserve. The reserve is inside the AECI premises at Southgate Business Park in Amanzimtoti.

The learners from Kusakusa, Magama and Phembisizwe primary schools were taken along a hiking trail and taught the importance of trees and of maintaining the environment.
