Angel Mbangu and Nokwazi Mkhungo have been appointed to the roles of Abaholi Bakusasa (Tomorrow’s Leaders) programme leader and administrative assistant respectively. Nokwazi studied community development, archives and records management, and sewing.

“I am a Christian, confident, dedicated, motivated, and approachable. I am experienced in community work with a special interest in the issues affecting communities. I always strive to achieve the highest standard possible at any given task and in any situation. What drives me to do good is the Word of God, for example, when it says, ‘Do for others what you want them to do for you,’” said Nokwazi, adding that she had enjoyed her time at Seed of Hope.

Angel said she was driven by her Christian faith as well as the desire to give back to the community.

“I have learned that everybody can be great because greatness is determined by service, and there is not one job in the world that doesn‘t become fulfilling when you shift the focus to serving others. So my energy is focused on what I have to offer so I can be used in service. And my being here at Seed of Hope, doing what I do, reaching out to the youth, families and men of this community, becomes an offering not just to this community but to the world,” said Angel.
