ETHEKWINI Municipality has issued a warning to residents of a planned nine-hour electricity outage on October 11.
It said this would be done to allow electricians to carry out some repairs at the Parkhill power station safely.

“Customers not switched off at 08:30 can assume they are not affected by this outage. While the power is off, customers are advised to treat all electrical installations as live,” said eThekwini in a statement.
Only Athlone Park is expected to be affected on the South Coast.
