Educational nature walk at Ezimbokodweni River

Bruce Munro led a group of nature enthusiasts along the Ezimbokodweni River, sharing his knowledge of fauna, flora and birdlife in the area.

ON OCTOBER 5, Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa members from Kingsburgh spent the morning on a guided nature walk led by Bruce Munro of the Amanzimtoti Country Club Conservancy.

The walk took place along the peaceful pathways beside the Ezimbokodweni River, offering adventure and education to those in attendance.

With his wealth of knowledge and passion for the environment, Munro captivated the group with fascinating insights into the local flora, fauna and birdlife. As the group wandered along the riverbanks, Munro pointed out indigenous plants, explained their role in the ecosystem, and identified various bird species, offering a deeper understanding of the region’s natural beauty.
