AN ARMED robbery took place this morning (October 7) at a gambling establishment, and the police are looking for the people responsible.

According to information received from a security company, the suspects fled the scene in a red Hyundai and were involved in a shoot-out with police.
“The vehicle crashed while shots were being fired, and the suspects fled on foot into the bush at Southgate Industrial Park,” it said.
It has not been confirmed yet whether the robbers made off with any money.
