Help Mother of Peace win e-waste challenge
Hand over all your broken or unwanted electronics to Mother of Peace to help them win the e-waste challenge.
MOTHER of Peace Communities, a home for orphaned and vulnerable children, has been nominated to take part in an electronic waste (e-waste) challenge. The closing date for the challenge is October 14.

Mother of Peace‘s fundraiser, Norma-Jean Shore, said the prize is a choice between R20 000 cash or IT equipment of the same value. E-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices.
“The community can help by donating non-functioning electrical equipment that is no longer needed. Whether it is a toaster, iron, kettle, microwave, computer, fridge or washing machine, nothing will be turned away. The organisation that collects the largest weight stands to win the prize,” said Norma-Jean.
