The lively event will be held at St Mary’s Church Hall at 14:00 to raise money for the community service projects that the Kingsburgh Lions Club is involved in.

Club president Lion Tony Marron said this is going to be a fantastic opportunity for the people of Amanzimtoti to come together and show off their skills while supporting the great work the club does.

“We’re looking for singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, magicians and anyone with a talent they’re willing to share,” he said.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards the Kingsburgh Lions’ initiatives, which include food drives, youth programmes, environmental clean-ups and support for the elderly and the disabled.

“Our members are thrilled to be dusting off their instruments and getting ready to perform,” Marron added, gesturing to the group of Lions holding instruments. “We can’t wait to see the talent that our community has to offer.”

Those interested in participating in the Kingsburgh Lions Club’s variety show should contact Rene Matthews on 079 829 4691 or Moira Rigby on 082 876 3239 or email tonymarron@gmail.com.
