Elections 2024: Ward 97 councillor provides voting update [Video]

Voters have until 21:00 to make their mark at voting stations across the country.

VOTING got off to a slow start at various voting stations in Ward 97 on Election Day (May 29).

Long queues of voters were observed from early morning at voting stations in and around Amanzimtoti as the delay of ballot papers and systems being offline presented some challenges.

Ward 97 councillor Andrè Beetge provides an update on the voting process at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre and urges citizens to exercise patience. Voters are reminded that voting stations are open until 21:00.
