Bingo afternoon in Warner Beach

Attendees eagerly await the next bingo day to be held on Spring Day.

THE Lions Club of Kingsburgh recently held a bingo afternoon in Warner Beach to raise funds to be used for various charitable causes.

The event was held at St Mary’s church from 14:30 to 17:00. One of the organisers, René Matthews, said it was a success and all those who took part loved it.

“People are already asking us when we will be hosting the next one because they loved it. We are already planning for the next one to be held on Spring Day in September,” said René.

A total of R2 000 was raised.
