Robin Hood Foundation donates to needy in Ezimangweni, commends local charity centre

The Robin Hood Foundation South Africa commended the Usizo-Lomndeni Centre in Ezimangweni for their tireless work among the needy in their community.

THE centre run by Usizo-Lomndeni in Ezimangweni was visited by the Robin Hood Foundation South Africa recently to deliver a donation of food to the area’s residents.

Usizo-Lomndeni was started by Zoe Bridge and Debbie West in 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown when they began feeding the hungry and providing clothing. In a statement, Robin Hood Foundation South Africa said the donation packs they distributed were comprised of a bag of maize meal and a vegetable pack. A total of 1 000 women received a package to take home.
