Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the magician has been in demand, serving as master of ceremonies and entertainer at corporate and private audiences globally, and Stage of Wonders marks his return to South African theatre.

Mo Magic says, “Spreading joy is my mission, and I’m thrilled to be returning to local stages with my new show. It’s been a labour of love to create, and I’m visualising the audience responding to it with sheer delight and excitement.”

The family-friendly show is interactive, with audience members being invited onto the stage to participate. It will be held at Gateway Theatre of Shopping, in uMhlanga, where Mo Magic is transforming a retail space into a pop-up theatre.

“I begin each event by considering the experience I want to create for my audience and how I want them to feel,” adds the magician. “With this in mind, each show will be limited to just 150 seats, and my team is creating a pop-up theatre, especially for this show, all part of creating a one-of-a-kind, exciting experience for those attending.”

The three-day debut run kicks off at Gateway Umhlanga on Friday, October 6. The show is suitable for anyone eight years old or up and is about 70 minutes long.
