“The owl has been placed in our ICU enclosure. He is going to stay with us for quite some time as the sticky residue did damage his feathers so he will have to go through a moult. He was underweight and possibly had a broken wing. Our dedicated nurses are providing him with the best care and medication around the clock. We are committed to nursing him back to health,” said Halkett-Siddall.

To support the work that Crow does, you can donate by visiting their website: crowkzn.co.za

Your donation will cover the costs of animal feed and medical assistance as well as fuel for the rescue and release vehicles.
