Aweh! Find out what’s popping in Durban this weekend

There is so much to do in Durban this weekend!

There is so much fun in store for the Durban Community this weekend, from outdoor family-fun activities to wining and dining for adults. Find a fun and relaxing way to get rid of that year-end fatigue. Here are some events Durban has to offer this weekend.

Christmas Tea and Mini Market – Saturday, November 26

Join the ladies of Musgrave Methodist Church for a fabulous festive diversion – a little Saturday afternoon mini market, a demo on fabulous festive décor ideas and what the best tables are wearing this summer, and a fashion show featuring garments from Cabriclo Designs – a Durban-based women’s clothing label that has been in operation for close on 30 years. The emphasis has always been based on providing well-made garments with only local labour – made on-site in the Durban factory and sold mainly via smaller boutiques nationally. The event will be taking place at the Musgrave Methodist Church on Saturday, November 26 from 13:00 to 16:00. Tickets are R50 each.

To book, contact Tilda at 031 201 2005 / tilda@musgravemethodist.co.za.

Sleeping Beauty – Saturday, November 26

Sleeping Beauty will take you on a journey through a kaleidoscope of dance. Watch a journey about love, a curse that only true love’s kiss can break and how evil is conquered through love and faith. Although she sleeps for 100 years, the spirit of the vines keeps hope alive, for a spindle curse exists where evil lives, but where love prevails, the curse shall fall away. The play will be taking place at the Playhouse Company, Drama Main 2022, 231 Smith St, Durban Central, Durban on November 26, from 12:00.
