Video footage from a CCTV camera showing the shooting of former eThekwini Municipality Ward 90 councillor, Sunil Brijmohan, has surfaced.

Amanzimtoti SAPS spokesperson Captain Charlene van der Spuy said Brijmohan (47) was on the roadside at his construction site at 55 Cato Crescent at 08:05 when two unknown men walked up to him and shot him twice in the face and once on his right side.
Brijmohan was an ANC councillor from 2016 to 2021, and his ward included Isipingo and the northern parts of Amanzimtoti.
The killers are still at large, and no arrests have been made.
