Indigenous plants for sale on Saturday, September 3

DURBAN’S longest-running plant fair, the Botanical Society (BotSoc) KZN Coastal Indigenous Plant Fair, takes place on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4 from 09:00 to 16:00 at the Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve.

This is the first plant fair for the BotSoc after a three-year break. Experts will be on hand to assist.

The entrance costs R10 for adults and R5 for children.

 Visit Woza Moya Gallery during September

Nicky Chovuchovu is exhibiting his paintings. The exhibit entitled A Spring in His Step is from September 1 to 30 at the Woza Moya Gallery in Botha’s Hill. Doors open at 12:00.

The gallery promises a spring surprise to those who will be attending.

Enjoy fine music on Sunday, September 4

Friends of Music presents A Trio Concert which features the wonderful talents of Nina Watson, Petya Koleva and Marguerite Spies and piano, violin and cello at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga Road. The programme will include the Beethoven Piano Trio,  Rachmaninoff Elegiac Trio and various other pieces by Haydn, Schubert, Piazzolla and Chick Corea.

Tickets cost R120 (members) and R140 (non-members).
