Help keep Toti SPCA’s animals warm

The animals are always in need of blankets to keep warm during the colder months.

THE Amanzimtoti SPCA is appealing to the community for donations of blankets for their animals during the colder months.

“Our blankets are washed regularly, and we are always needing more to replace them due to wear. We also have plenty of puppies and so many blankets are chewed up,” said Toti SPCA manager Tracey Girling.

On that note, they are always looking for dog and cat toys for the animals to be entertained in their cages. Second-hand toys in good condition are always welcome.

The Toti SPCA are also always in need of donations of puppy and kitten food, especially wet food. “At the moment, our stock of adult food is fine. We, however, always need food for puppies and kittens,” said Tracey.

Donations of blankets, toys and food can be dropped off at 1 Nyati Road, Athlone Park. Alternatively, monetary donations can be paid into the following bank account: Amanzimtoti SPCA, First National Bank Galleria Branch, bank code: 220127, account number: 62807184552, reference: food/ surname.
