UPDATE: Help find missing Amanzimtoti teen
The police phoned his father on Friday evening, May 13, and informed him that they have him in custody.
IVAN Smit, 16, was found on Friday evening, May 13, after CCTV footage from his Beach Road flat captured him leaving on foot on Thursday, May 12, following a dispute with his father according to his aunt, Annelien Barnard.

“He was still in the Amanzimtoti area and found at about 17:30. It started getting dark I prayed and asked the Lord to please let him be found before night time. My brother phoned us before 18:00 and said the police just phoned and said they have him in custody,” said Barnard.
Barnard expressed her thanks to those who helped find him and added, “we appreciate all the help and love each one showed.”
