Three dead, one injured in Prospecton shooting

It is alleged that gunmen in an unknown vehicle opened fire on the occupants of a mini-bus taxi and fled.

TWO men have been killed, one woman injured and one who succumbed to her injuries in a deadly shooting on Jeffels Road, Prospecton on Thursday afternoon, May 12.
PT Alarms Tactical and PT Ambulance Service responded to the scene.

PT Alarms spokesperson, Dhevan Govindasamy, said, “It is alleged that gunmen in an unknown vehicle opened fire on the occupants of a mini-bus taxi and fled.”
PT Ambulance paramedics declared two men deceased and treated the injured, before one of them succumbed to their injuries. Metro Police were on scene.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage and is subject to investigation by SAPS.
