Vandals sought by Toti SAPS

In the video, more people can be heard encouraging the vandals.

TWO men are being sought after a video of them vandalising a road sign at the corner of Andrew Zondo Road and Emoyeni Drive in Amanzimtoti appeared on social media recently.

The road is named after an Umkhonto we Sizwe operative who detonated a bomb at Sanlam Centre in Amanzimtoti in 1985 that killed five people. It was previously called Kingsway Road.

In the video, at least two women can also be heard in the background encouraging the men as they commit the crime. Anyone with knowledge of the suspects can contact ward 97 councillor, André Beetge on 082 718 8137 so that criminal charges of destruction of municipal infrastructure can be instituted against them.
