IBHUBESI Inkosi, a shop that sell traditional as well as Western medicine in Amanzimtoti, hosted a well-attended grand opening on Saturday, February 26.

Some of the dignitaries that graced the event included ward 97 councillor, André Beetge, and Inkosi Phathisizwe Luthuli from Emnini who arrived with his regiments. Traditional Zulu dancers provided entertainment that had all attendees captivated.
There were lucky draws throughout the day, with the grand prize winner walking away with R20 000. Traditional healer and co-owner of Ibhubesi Inkosi, Aubrey Ngcobo, said he was happy to see people enjoying themselves and was looking forward to working with the community of Amanzimtoti.
Ibhubesi Inkosi also made a R50 000 donation to Operation Bobbi Bear, a Toti-based human rights organisation committed to helping abused children. Operation Bobbi Bear’s Eureka Olivier, said the organisation has been battling since the looting of July 2021, combined with the effects of Covid-19.
“The companies that used to help us were struggling themselves and could not make the donations anymore. From the bottom of my heart thank you to Ibhubesi Inkosi, I wish them all the best in their new shop,” she said.
