“We celebrate and honour our exceptional influencial women and Artes award recipients who are making a difference in the community,” said director of influential women of the year, Pinky Mothie.

Jo-ann Herbst, Founder of the Elders Voice KZN, is being acknowledged for her acts of humanity and service to the community, “it’s really great to be nominated, I’m hoping the exposure to what we do brings awareness to the plight of elderly we look after and we hope this platform helps make a difference,” said Herbst.

Eureka Olivier, director of Operation Bobbi Bear, is also being acknowledged for her acts of humanity and service to the community, “success is not an island, no one is alone, its a team effort.

I am humbled, but this award is not mine, it is a team award in honour of every single staff memeber at Bobbi Bear for their love, passion and dedication to the children we serve. All accolades belongs to our team,” said Olivier

“The IWOY recipients have reached a pinnacle of success in spite of challenges. We salute them,” said Mothie. For more information or to buy a ticket, call 081 268 4067.
