Toti hospital warns of job scam

The public is asked to watch for obvious red flags in adverts for employment.

THE Netcare Kingsway Hospital in Athlone Park, has warned the public about a fake advert for employment at the facility that has been shared on various social media platforms recently.

Sometimes those seeking employment receive an email or a message on their cellphone inviting them for an interview without having made an application. In a recent statement, the hospital said such false adverts claiming to offer either training or employment have been appearing on an ongoing basis.

“These adverts may appear very legitimate. The latest one appears to set up interviews for candidates at Netcare Kingsway Hospital, but then asks for them for application fees,” read the statement.
