[PICTURES] – Miles of smiles at Wanderers Haven’s birthday bash

Delicious treats, fun activities and smiling faces were the order of the day.

WANDERERS Haven recently has celebrated its second birthday and hosted a birthday bash.

“It is better to give than to receive,” said co-founder of the organisation, Sharon Swanepoel who together with her husband, Johnny has been walking a path with families and individuals.

A walk of faith took place from the small Spar to the caravan park in Winklespruit and food was distributed to the community on Saturday, October 23.  The event was well enjoyed by the community at large.  The organisation provides meals to the homeless on Tuesdays and Fridays weekly, offers counselling and lends a helping hand. “This was purely to celebrate the organisation and the community.”

Funds can also be donated through the following bank details: Capitec Bank, Wanderers Haven: savings account, account number: 1468687415.
