Popularly known as Pastor Ronnie, he was the ordained minister of Ebenezer Assemblies of God Church. Ebenezer is the oldest and longest standing church in the Isipingo area from its humble beginnings of being tent-based, to operating out of school classrooms until he built a mortar and brick church in Lotus Park. Pastor Ronnie fervently served the community of Isipingo and surrounding areas for 30 years. His unwavering faith and steadfast commitment to supporting those in need, especially the poor and destitute, will forever be remembered. His feeding scheme attracted people from all walks of life and gave daily sustenance to those who did not know where their next meal will come from.

His outreach programmes encouraged people in impoverished communities and informal settlements to maintain their dignity and renew their faith in God. His legacy was to live humbly, to actively contribute toward rectifying socio-economic injustices and to use every resource to ensure that whosoever crossed his path was introduced to Christianity, given spiritual and physical nourishment without expecting anything in return. He was laid to rest on Saturday, October 16, after a very solemn send-off service at Ebenezer Assemblies of God Church.
