Cupcakes angels visits Galleria Mall

While childhood cancer is a difficult journey, Cupcakes of Hope offers a light-hearted, fun and rewarding way to help children and families in need.

Cupcakes of Hope is committed to raise awareness about childhood cancer while sharing stories of hope, through the love of baking cupcakes.  September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and National Cupcake Day will be celebrated at Galleria Mall on Saturday, September 25, from 09:00. The stall will be situated next to Gopal’s Bags.

While childhood cancer is a difficult journey, Cupcakes of Hope offers a light-hearted, fun and rewarding way to help children and families in need. Volunteers, fondly known as Cupcakes Angels, are between the ages of three and 90-years-old, and generously offer their time to bake a difference. Any recipe can be used when it comes to baking a difference in the lives of children with cancer, as long as the baked goods are made with love. Cupcakes of Hope aims to get 3 000 bakers to register, and raise funds to reach its target of R3 million in September.

To become a cupcake angel all you have to do is pledge to bake 24, 48 or 100 cupcakes, register your fundraiser on the website, bake your delicious treats and ask friends to make a R10 to R20 donation per cupcake and finally, donate funds to Cupcakes of Hope.
