Company joins clean-up campaign

More than 800 bags of waste were collected.

AECI Property Services employees rolled up their sleeves and participated in the World Clean-Up Day on Saturday, September 18.

AECI’s community liaison officer, Nomali Msomi said the company joined the movement for a clean planet together with Triple- P, Clean Environment and Plastics SA.

“The cleanup took place at Ezimbokodweni River as well as at the Vulumzi informal settlement in Gauteng. We collected more than 800 bags on both sites with over 100 volunteers who participated. A big thank you to AECI employees, House Kids Organization, Wise Wayz Water Care organization and the Durban Solid Waste Department representatives who also supplied us with plastic bags and arranged collections,” said Msomi.
