Cattle are welcome visitors to Amanzimtoti Civic Center area [LETTER]

Cattle are herbivores eating grass and vegetation, their dung is rich in nutrients and makes excellent compost.

EDITOR – The saga of dogs on leads saw some writers make reference to the cattle that graze at Hutchison Park and Amanzimtoti Civic Center areas.

Cattle are herbivores eating grass and vegetation, their dung is rich in nutrients and makes excellent compost. Not so the case with dogs, which are carnivores.

In our complex in Riverside Road, we collect the cattle dung from the grass areas and use it for our gardens. So in my view, they are welcome visitors.
