Several arrested following violence and looting

According to national police there are reports of two people who were killed so far in KZN.

Law enforcement officials are working hard to put a hold on the violent protests. The total number of arrests since this morning is 219 with 123 in KwaZulu-Natal.

The National joint operational and intelligence structure has intensified deployment to areas in Gauteng and KZN that has been affected by violent protests as damage to property and looting of stores continued over night.
