The Covid-19 vaccination roll-out for residents over 50 commenced on Monday, 5 July at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre. Residents over the age of 50 and who are registered on the electronic vaccination data system (EVDS) are eligible for the vaccine.
“This serves to confirm that those over the age of 50 and who are registered on the national database, can report to Amanzimtoti Civic centre from Monday morning 08:00 for vaccination,” said ward 97 councillor, André Beetge.
Vaccinations will be done from Monday to Thursday during the hours 08:00 to 15:00. To register visit, enroll.health.gov.za.
