Art association hosts renowned artist

“Join us for a day of art and creativity. See you there and join in the fun!”

The Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) hosts well-known Durban artist Kim Pereira.  The meeting will be held at the Methodist Church Hall, 3 Dingwall Road.  USCAA is delighted that Kim will present a demonstration at its monthly meeting on Saturday, 19 June. Anyone interested in art is welcome to join at a fee of R30 (includes tea). The meeting starts at 1pm and attendees are requested to arrive early for registration and Covid-19 requirements.

“The morning drawing class will start at 9am as usual and the fee is R30 (includes tea). Ritha Fenske will be presenting the class on and the lesson will be about hats and flowers,” said USCAA president, Irene Carroll.

Attendees will need to bring along A3 pastel paper (white), pencils 3B and up, colour pencils optional; three pastels in colours of your choice, rubber or putty rubber, ballpoint pens, charcoal dust, charcoal, medium size mirror, one flower or picture of a flower, table easel if possible, two or three hats, caps or scarves and a drawing board.
