Doug scoops first place in Amanzimtoti Racing Pigeon Club’s second race of the season

Both lofts are showing good form with Fry scoring a further eight positions in the top 20 and Danny four.

Amanzimtoti Racing Pigeon Club (ARPC) raced its second race of the season from Standerton on Saturday, 5 June, a distance of 380 kilometres.

Weather conditions were good, clear skies, but extremely cold.

The birds were liberated at 9am and quickly found their direction and headed home.

This time it was Doug Fry’s turn to turn the tables on his club buddy, inching Danny Bradshaw by a mere three seconds on the trap.

Fry was first and finished third in Durban with Bradshaw second and third again with the club and federation pools. Both lofts are showing good form with Fry scoring a further eight positions in the top 20 and Danny four.

Well done to all the Toti fanciers who scored well against stiff Durban competition.
