Motorcyclists in Illovo Beach continue to make headlines for all the wrong reasons [LETTER]

They are now duly warned of the presence of cameras for the sole purpose to stop their reckless and noisy actions in this suburb.

EDITOR – The Illovo Beach suburb is suffering for years now with speeding and roaring motorbikes.

Two bikers especially try their best to make as much noise as possible when they enter the residential area. One is a person with a big bike and the other one with a smaller bike.

These people are being informed that hidden video cameras will be installed shortly to bring them to book. It is our duty as a community to act against such persons who have no conscience and no respect for other people’s rights to enjoy their privacy and freedom of property.

For this reason, as required by law, they are now duly warned of the presence of cameras for the sole purpose to stop their reckless and noisy actions in this suburb.

These recordings will be used in a court of law with the assistance of the local traffic department to enforce the law and application of the new points system to be put in place countrywide.
