A freedom walk will be held on Saturday, 24 April starting at Splash Water World to the CBD. It will commence at 12pm and will be followed by a bring and braai on the rooftop parking of Lifegro Centre.
“The walk is to raise awareness through the combined efforts of the organisations. We appeal to the community to join and make a difference. It’s an honour to make an impact in the lives of others. Freedom means a lot of different things to people in the community and we want to celebrate that,” said co-founder of Wanderers Haven, Sharon Swanepoel.
Various organisation including SAPS will be part of the walk.
“We also want the community to join the bring and braai, salads and rolls will be provided.”
