Trespassing suspect arrested in Athlone Park

Residents are urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.

A sneaking suspect was arrested for trespassing on Monday morning, 12 April. The suspect had allegedly jumped over a wall in Ipahla Road, Athlone Park. The resident saw the suspect through a window and alerted CCPO.

“Members from CCPO, ET Rapid Response and Blue Security responded promptly, which resulted in the arrest. The suspect was handed over to Amanzimtoti SAPS,” said operations manager of ET Rapid Response, Louis van Ryneveld.

Residents are urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.
